The Week Ahead

This was my final sentence in last weekend’s issue:

This is basically what I’m going to live by until we see proof otherwise. The threat of that proof could begin to show up next week. We closed right at the underside of the 200MA on the QQQ on Friday. I think we need to see some consolidation or pullback here. we want to see gaps down being bought up not gaps up fading.

VIX has cut right back down into it’s lower range meaning we can really concentrate on the individual stocks here. Many leading names have moved and the next rotation of them are setting up.

Lots of interesting earnings again this week. Lots of trader favorites : PLTR, TEM, CEG, HIMS, ALAB, COIN etc. Full List of my favorites below.

As always Macro looms over the market. Bessent will speak tomorrow at Milken Conference at 11am EST. We have ISM Services Monday at 10am EST. The big Economic event will be the FOMC on Wednesday afternoon. Plenty of FED Speakers throughout the week and lots going on with Republicans hashing out the reconciliation Bill. China & US have been flirting with discussions. Sentiment is positive at the moment on this. All it takes is a tweet to derail that and again we can expect that sort of volatility to be the norm however these whips should now be considered to be every day life as a trader. It’s not going to change but we need to realize that every presidential tweet isn’t the end of the world either.

Big week and there is going to be TONS of opportunities. I’m in full on trading mode this week and am ready for the moments to strike hard! Have a great week everyone!
