The Week Ahead : 23rd- 27th March 2026
Highlights: Narrative Drive Market, T2108 Oversold
Sources & Services I Use in my Trading:
StockAnalysis.com - I’ve been using Stock Analysis as a super cheap but reliable method of looking at New and Upcoming IPOs, Earnings Calendars and most notably KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Stock Analysis allows you to view the KPIs for many companies with up to date metrics and segments that you can cross reference against Earnings Results. This is incredibly important when understanding what metrics move a stock. At $65 per year it’s a no brainer. They’ve given me a discount code if you use IRISHBORNINVESTOR they will give you another 10% Off.
Week Overview
Market Setup: Below All Moving Averages, Strong VIX, Panic Setting In
Key Themes: Oversold Bounce
Focus Areas: This is a very slow week in terms of earnings and catalysts. US PMIs on Tuesday likely the most important on the macro front. We’re in a fully news driven market right now. Focused on Trump’s every word and threat. My main focus this week will be an oversold bounce. T2108 (% of Stocks under the 40MA) is below 20. It closed at 16. When this drops below 10 then the market and individual stocks tend to rebound sharply in the short term. During these periods everything is correlated. Stock picking is less important in the short term.
Whether this is a short term bounce or the beginning of a sustained upward move is anyone’s guess. The best situation is likely a strong gap down on Monday but we probably won’t be that lucky..
Earnings below, some reasonable charts but nothing that I’m super excited about considering the conditions. There are some Biotech’s also reporting data listed below.
Caution advised this week. Less is more for sure.

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
