The Week Ahead : 22nd - 26th June 2026
Today in Focus: DFTX, GETY
Trading Services I Use:
StockAnalysis.com - I’ve been using Stock Analysis as an affordable but reliable method of looking at New and Upcoming IPOs, Earnings Calendars and most notably KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Stock Analysis allows you to view the KPIs for many companies with up to date metrics and segments that you can cross reference against Earnings Results. This is incredibly important when understanding what metrics move a stock. At $65 per year it’s a no brainer. They’ve given me a discount code if you use IRISHBORNINVESTOR they will give you another 10% Off.
Situational Awareness:
Market Condition: Bullish, Lots of Setups forming
Commentary: Overall the market looks bullish. Difficult to see it any other way. Lot’s of great looking charts developing. For catalysts I’ve found June to be difficult but it’s important to stay the course and wait for the catalysts to come and the great setups to hit.
DFTX is my main pick today as outlined below.
In terms of technical setups I’m looking at KEEL and QTEX (which has a insider buy secondary catalyst today).
Also watching GETY for their OpenAI partnership. Potential for a short squeeze, magnitude move not duration (likely one day wonder if it does make a move). Pre market price action is sluggish but volume is there.
Upcoming Earnings:
Before Open: CCL
In Play
DFTX: Positive Phase 3 Trial - Psychedelic Theme
Key Metrics DFTX: Industry Group: Biotechnology, Market Cap: 4.17B, Float: 104.84M, Short Interest: 8.99%, Days to Cover: 4.90, Sales Y/Y TTM: -, EPS Y/Y TTM: -164.79%, Earnings: May 07 AMC, Exchange: NASDAQ
Catalyst:
Positive topline results from Emerge, the first of two pivotal Phase 3 trials of DT120 ODT (lysergide/LSD tartrate, 100 µg single dose) in major depressive disorder. The study met its primary endpoint: an 8.1-point placebo-adjusted MADRS reduction at Week 6 (−13.3 DT120 vs. −5.2 placebo, p<0.0001).
Stock is in a strong uptrend so definitely not neglected but it has a solid daily chart setup. Psychedelics is a definite Biotech theme. Strong results. Ticks all the boxes.

Biotech Catalysts
Flagged Charts: CTNM, NAMS, MBX, RYTM, BCRX, ELDN, DNLI, IONS, PBYI
Note: Never front-run biotech catalysts. Wait for the catalyst to hit, then assess if the reaction is tradable. Dates are estimates and can shift.

Stocks in Play Watchlist:
I’ve done some spring cleaning on the Stocks in Play Watchlist. I’ve added some sections to make it easier to navigate and removed anything I felt wasn’t worth having in there. I don’t continue to track the Biotechs on this list because I won’t take a delayed reaction in a Biotech. I want it to work day one or I’m happy to pass.
Monitoring This Week:
SNOW, LITE, PANW, CRWD, MXL, VIAV, GOOG, BAND, MRAM, EVC, FROG, DGXX, RKLB, AOSL, IREN, NVDA, SOLS, NET
Have a Great Week!
Sean Sharpe
PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
