StockAnalysis.com - I’ve been using Stock Analysis as an affordable but reliable method of looking at New and Upcoming IPOs, Earnings Calendars and most notably KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Stock Analysis allows you to view the KPIs for many companies with up to date metrics and segments that you can cross reference against Earnings Results. Market Condition: Bearish
Commentary: Bigger earnings week this week but unfortunately a lot of charts are badly damaged. I’m not overly hopeful this week of good opportunities. I think the best we are looking for is a lift from GOOG, TSLA and INTC which are the major market movers this week.
There are a few decent charts in random names but nothing I’m overly excited about and mainly in slower movers. ROP, HOG, RNG. But even these are not fantastic. I’ve highlighted the best of below as always.
No macro data this week. PMIs on Friday but they’re not something that are on my radar.
The plan for the week is to be patient. DIA, QQQ and SPY all closed below the 20EMA this week. The QQQ has been living below it and 50 Day for a few days now.
I focus on the QQQ and all my market health metrics are currently red and are getting more red. I don’t think we’re near an extreme apart from short 1 to 3 day bounces which again is not conducive to what I do. Time is better spent sharpening the tools to be ready when better conditions come back around.
Looking two to three weeks out on earnings I see some better opportunities shaping up. Paytience.
