Situational Awareness:
Market Condition: Bullish
Commentary: Last week was easily the best period since May. The indexes look good. We are getting follow through in many stocks and more stocks are setting up. For now it would be silly to be anything but bullish here. There are also several themes that look ready to setup.
Robotics charts are grouping in a textbook way for a theme run. AEVA, AUR, OUST, CCXI, AMBA and others. This is a top watch for me and it has been quite a while since I’ve seen such strong potential in a speculative group.
This week is a much quieter earnings week. So we will be looking much closer at PR catalysts. There are some nice looking earnings charts though. The best I see are KLAR (Tuesday BMO), KEYS (Tuesday AMC), OPRA & ZIM (Wednesday BMO) and finally BULL (Wednesday AMC). Remaining Highlights below.
Quiet week in Macro also. The main highlight will be FOMC Minutes on Wednesday afternoon.
If you’re not familiar with the cycle what we’re going to see now are Investor Days and Conferences taking over. That’s where management will announce something, upgrade guidance etc. etc. This helps existing positions as well as giving us new catalyst opportunities. When dealing with catalyst trading it’s good to familiarize yourself with the cycle we’re on.
