The Week Ahead : 15th - 18th June 2026

Today in Focus: Peace Deals and Press Conferences

Trading Services I Use:

StockAnalysis.com - I’ve been using Stock Analysis as an affordable but reliable method of looking at New and Upcoming IPOs, Earnings Calendars and most notably KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Stock Analysis allows you to view the KPIs for many companies with up to date metrics and segments that you can cross reference against Earnings Results. This is incredibly important when understanding what metrics move a stock. At $65 per year it’s a no brainer. They’ve given me a discount code if you use IRISHBORNINVESTOR they will give you another 10% Off.

Situational Awareness:

Market Condition: Market Bounce - Cautious

Commentary: I took a short family vacation last week. For the most part I wasn’t trading but I kept some basic routine to not lose touch with the market. My current view of the market is one of caution. A lot of my positions stopped out in the past two weeks. The selling in individual names was quite fierce. We had a strong two day bounce toward the end of last week this absolutely may continue from here to All Time Highs but I’m prepared for a month or two of sideways choppiness. I primarily trade Catalysts. I will continue to focus on those and wait for strong catalysts with good charts to hit. There is no need to panic buy here. If we get another sustained leg up then there will be plenty of opportunities.

The Iran/US Peace Deal seems set to be signed over the weekend. This has likely been well priced in for the market. SpaceX IPO was a day one success. That is a positive. We want to see money flowing.

Short week this week but importantly we have the FED Decision on Wednesday. This isn’t something I’ve been focusing on in recent times but considering it’s Warsh’s first meeting as FED Chair his commentary will be important to market direction.

Note that the market is CLOSED Friday.

I’m cautious. Continue to be patient on longer duration catalyst swing opportunities. No need to force anything here.

No earnings of note this coming week. I have flagged some that have tradable charts but there is nothing I’m hugely excited about.

I’ve updated my Stocks in Play Watchlist also. I’ve added sections to make it easier to navigate. Additionally I have added a Recent IPO section for liquid IPOs that I think are worth monitoring. I also intend on including more Short Catalysts in future. I still expect these to make up less than 10% of Stock Picks.

Biotech Catalysts

Flagged Charts: CTNM, NAMS, MBX, RYTM, BCRX, ELDN, DNLI, IONS, PBYI, ELTX

Note: Never front-run biotech catalysts. Wait for the catalyst to hit, then assess if the reaction is tradable. Dates are estimates and can shift.

Stocks in Play Watchlist:

I’ve done some spring cleaning on the Stocks in Play Watchlist. I’ve added some sections to make it easier to navigate and removed anything I felt wasn’t worth having in there. I don’t continue to track the Biotechs on this list because I won’t take a delayed reaction in a Biotech. I want it to work day one or I’m happy to pass.

Monitoring This Week:

  • AEHR, AVGO, GOOG, MRAM, TWLO, DDOG, SNOW, DOCN, RXT, EVC, AEVA, IREN, NBIS, AOSL, APLD, SOLS, NVDA, SEI

Have a Great Week!

Sean Sharpe

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
