Today’s Picks
1) MBX Biosciences Inc (MBX) - 4/5 Biotech Checklist
X-Ray MBX: Industry Group: Biotechnology, Market Cap: 335.94M, Float: 16.20M Short Interest 23.72%, Days to Cover: 8.63, Exchange: NASDAQ
Announced positive topline results from its Phase 2 Avail™ trial of once-weekly canvuparatide in chronic hypoparathyroidism (HP). The trial met its primary endpoint: 63% of canvuparatide-treated patients achieved responder status (normal serum calcium + minimal/no supplement use) at 12 weeks vs. 31% for placebo (p=0.042). Notably, this was achieved without PRN rescue therapy.
Recent IPO, High Volume Pre Market, Big move pre market so may see sellers at the open. Nice Chart, High Short Interest. Focusing on Key Level entry.
Honorable Mention
Crypto Treasuries: There are a lot of crypto treasury names moving this morning on news. AGRI, , FLGC, BKKT, QLGN. AGRI looks the best to me. Like all of these plays they tend to be big fast moves as opposed to a sustained move. Anthony Scaramucci is involved in AGRI which may add weight when compared to recent deals with Tom Lee, Dan Ives etc. Worth noting that crypto itself is weak today.
Market Awareness
The red open on the market this morning is more bullish than a gap up. Lets see if we can go red to green quickly. Some decent looking delayed reactions. Lot’s of crypto treasury news this morning, though crypto itself is negative.
Watching the VIX all this week for tell tale signs of selling. Lot’s of bearish sentiment out there but I think the momentum in speculation is strong to overshoot to the upside.

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
