Today’s Picks
1) Cyngn Inc. (CYN)
X-Ray CYN: Industry Group: Software - Application, Market Cap: 38.72M, Float: 7.03M Short Interest 8.68%, Days to Cover: 1.45, Exchange: NASDAQ
Cyngn announced a commercial deployment of its DriveMod autonomous tugger with G&J Pepsi, the largest independent Pepsi bottler in the U.S. This marks Cyngn’s entry into large-scale consumer packaged goods (CPG) material handling, expanding its technology footprint beyond industrial pilots into a branded, revenue-generating partnership. Chart is Neglected with a long base, low float, reasonable SI. Legitimate catalyst in a strong theme - Automation/Robotics/Dark Factories.
2) Rekor Systems Inc. (REKR)
X-Ray REKR: Industry Group: Software - Infrastructure, Market Cap: 262.77M, Float: 120.92M Short Interest 9.68%, Days to Cover: 3.37, Exchange: NASDAQ
Very strong Pre Announced Earnings report. Revs up 75% YoY, Narrowing Losses, Improved GMs. Successful pivot to SaaS. Had a contract win last week on Thursday so this hits somewhat like a delayed reaction. Good catalyst, ability to run.
3) Walmart (WMT)
X-Ray WMT: Industry Group: Discount Stores, Market Cap: 814.19B, Float: 4.36B Short Interest 0.79%, Days to Cover: 2.15, Exchange: NYSE
Open AI Partnership, ability for customers to shop directly through OpenAI using instant checkout. Stock has a big base. Slower mover obviously. I like the catalyst, in theme and somewhat more of a defensive play in a higher priced stock. Basing for almost a year.
Market Awareness
Keeping it simple. Cautious on new risk. Trailing existing positions. Lots of things very extended. Won’t be surprised if we have another few days down before beginning to establish a range. Batteries and Rare Earths moving hard this morning but all extended so no entry available on anything new in those themes.

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
