Market Awareness

I realize most subscribe to this newsletter to get good stocks to trade but once again I don’t really see an awful lot. VIX rising this morning. I think anything that is moving is likely to fade hard. SGML is probably the best looking thing today but it’s coming out of a large downtrend and it’s having somewhat of a delayed reaction from, albeit strong, earnings on Friday morning. There is potentially some other unknown catalyst moving it this morning. I noted strength in metals/minerals over the weekend. 

I’m cautious today and would like to see how the market moves and regardless, I’m just not seeing the catalysts to interest me. 

Sit and wait and be ready for the real opportunities to hit.
