Welcome to today's Stocks in Play report. Below are the key stocks to watch, along with brief x-ray and analysis.

1) SolarEdge Technologies (SEDG) (Rating: B, Multi-Day)

Industry Group: Solar Technology, Market Cap: $750m, Float: 56.92m, Short Interest: 31%, Days to Cover: 4.7, Exchange: NASDAQ

Catalyst: Slight Beat on EPS (-$1.14 vs est. -$1.16), Solid Beat on Revs, Beat on Q2 Revs Guide, Positive FCF, Solid Gross Margins, factoring in Tariff impact (Less impactful than feared), Positive outlook and company restructuring. Nice base on the chart. Severe Neglect, High Short interest and DTC, Bumping off the 50MA this morning pre market, needs to clear that for momentum.

Honorable Mention to:

HIMS - Solid earnings on this, slip in Gross Margins and light Q2 Revs Guide. Otherwise there isn’t much here for Bears to be absolutely delighted about. I’m watching this today for a red to green move. Support around $38. High Short Interest. 2 Analyst Upgrades so far this morning.

WRD/PONY - Both companies are the latest to announce partnerships with UBER who are going hard announcing collaborations before their earnings tomorrow morning. PONY squatted yesterday after B/O the previous day, WRD is sitting at it’s All Time Lows. Both are recent IPOs, note that both are also Chinese.

Bargain Bucket (Low Priced Stocks):

I have been doing some study on lower priced volatile stocks. I’ve decided to include them here every so often for those that are interested, with the caveat that I’m no expert on these names but I will only include those that I think have an actual catalyst, not just stocks that are ramping for no reason. I will exclude anything under $1. Treat these names with caution as many are scammy companies. I had GPUS included yesterday but deleted it before publishing. It’s move yesterday convinced me that it is worthwhile including this section every so often, especially since I am researching them myself. I want this newsletter to be exactly as I am working myself and as that changes the newsletter will change. I think it would be disingenuous of me to not mention these names if I’m trading them instead of names I am mentioning.

FOXO - Press Release meeting key operational milestones in patient treatment facilities (Addiction Rehab Facilities - Drugs, Alcohol etc.) Stock moving on massive volume pre market, Up 220% with 28m Volume Pre Market. Tiny float, 8% Short.

Market Awareness

Another gap down this morning. Yesterday was bought up and held. There is a gap just below this morning’s pre market low to $477. We may fill that today. Still sitting here under the 200MA. Nothing to say only we want these red opens to be bought and hold.

Plenty of individual stocks are moving, VIX a little perky this morning, so will monitor that. Otherwise it’s business as usual on individual names for now.
