1) Reddit (RDDT) (Rating: B-, Single-Day)

Industry Group: Technology Services, Market Cap: $14.8b, Float: 108.8m, Short Interest: 18.8%, Days to Cover: 2.3, Exchange: NASDAQ

Catalyst: Large Beat on EPS ($0.13 vs est. $0.02) +101% YoY, Beat on Revs (+61.7% YoY), Raised full year Guidance on Revs and EPS above analyst estimates. Pushed up to $140 last night but faded but I think is a prime focus for today. High Short Interest. Solid results.

Honorable Mention to:

UPST - Collaboration with WMT, Low Float High Short Interest. Heard it on the squawk haven’t found the details. The partnership is expected to help Upstart market consumer lending products to Walmart's customer base

TTWO - Delayed GTA 6 until May 2025, this is not a huge shock but market reacting like it is.. Steep drop this morning below $200. Has recovered somewhat. I think this dip will be bought today. May not go green but I would love to see a flush to buy an oversold bounce.

Market Awareness

We held pretty well yesterday. Another 1% Gap Up looking likely this morning on positive jobs report. The Risk Reward still feels somewhat unfavorable here for swings but this is a very narrative driven market. There are more headlines overnight of the US & China softening up the ground to begin negotiations. I wouldn’t be surprised to see something like that announced today. Which could propel us higher.

I’m looking for singles here. Solid day trades on a Friday not looking to give back or annoy myself going into the weekend. I am in bull market mode and that reminds me that this could easily be the beginning of a solid market run. No panic.
