1) Sea Limited (SE) (Rating: B, Multi-Day)
Industry Group: Internet Retail, Market Cap: $87.2b, Float: 536m, Short Interest: 3.14%, Days to Cover: 3, Exchange: NYSE
Catalyst: Beat on EPS, Revs inline. Huge Beat on EBITDA, Beat on Margins. E-commerce GMV slight miss. Strong stock, after a shake out this year it is back in it’s upward channel. Potentially overshooting a move pre market, I’m looking for an intraday pullback on this.
Honorable Mention to:
COIN- Added to S&P500. I find this name difficult to trade but there is no denying it looks good on the Daily and if Crypto continues to be a theme they are a big player. Their acquisition of an Exchange Deribit is a major move. Loks good for a sustained move.
ARWR - Huge beat on Revs vs estimates $542m vs est. $125m. mainly due to Sarepta deal. Huge beat on EPS. Positive Drug pipeline FDA acceptance. CFO change. The numbers here seem very large and are all driven by the Sarepta licensing deal. There is significant dilution but the stock is very neglected. 12% Short Interest, 8 Days to Cover. Low volume Pre market.
JD - Strong Results. Solid beat on EPS and Revs. Growing well YoY. A very gappy Chinese stock which makes it somewhat difficult to trade but looking strong pre market, in theme also with Tariff pause.
Market Awareness
We are due a breather but I think the market will continue to go higher here for a while and individual names will continue to work. I’m focusing on individual names each day and not overly concerned if we see a slight pullback or consolidation here. I think the good news moves may have maxed out in the short term with the China announcement but that doesn’t mean we don’t drift to all time highs here.

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
