1) Hims and Hers (HIMS) (Rating: B+, Multi-Day)

Industry Group: Household & Personal Products, Market Cap: 12.71B, Float: 200.63M Short Interest 31.07%, Days to Cover: 1.77, Exchange: NYSE

Catalyst: Announced that they will buy ZAVA in an all cash deal. ZAVA operate in Europe. So the story here is that this is HIMS expanding their operations overseas. ZAVA operate the online telehealth services for Superdrug in the UK, which is pretty big I think. They also have a solid presence in Ireland, France & Germany. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed but it’s probably around $300m from what I’ve searched. This is a cult stock.

2) Credo Technologies (CRDO) (Rating: B+, Multi-Day)

Industry Group: Semiconductors, Market Cap: 10.64B, Float: 147.06M Short Interest 6.48%, Days to Cover: 1.95, Exchange: NASDAQ

Catalyst: Strong Beat on EPS ($0.35 vs est. $0.27) Solid Beat on Revs, Revs Growing 180% YoY, Strong KPI results : Product Sales up 302% YoY underscoring AI Demand, Raised Guidance. AI themed. Expanding partnerships with hyperscalers. Management said they are seeing surging demand. One negative is the Inventory build up but the market may ignore this for now. Four analyst upgrades so far.

"I’m proud of Credo’s achievements in fiscal 2025. For the year, the Company delivered record-breaking financial results, with revenue up 126% year over year to $436.8 million. The Company’s results were fueled by surging demand for our innovative, reliable, and energy-efficient high-performance connectivity solutions. We continue to see growing demand for our solutions across hyperscaler customers to power advanced AI services, a trend we believe will persist for the foreseeable future."

— Bill Brennan, President and Chief Executive Officer

Honorable Mention to:

CEG - Signed large deal with META to provide clean Nuclear energy for 20 Years. This is one of the more real Nuclear names. All the speculative names are also popping. OKLO being the leader but NNE, SMR etc. also moving here. This follows on from deals they signed with MSFT last year that kicked off a strong run.

JOBY - I’m still droning on about drones. JOBY signed a memorandum of understanding with Jameel group to explore business opportunities in Saudi Arabia. With an aim to enable fast, clean, quiet and affordable commercial passenger transportation in Saudi Arabia Potential delivery of up to 200 electric aircraft and related services valued at approximately $1 billion over coming years. This is a fluff headline but the stock still has 14% Short Interest with 4.5 DTC and had highest ever volume a few days ago with the closing of the Toyota Investment.

Market Awareness

Plenty of headlines today. Feels Risk On and Speculative. Lots of news to choose from. Beware of the JOBs report at 10am EST. Watch for VIX spike but for now I am just carrying on as normal and I am also seeing some follow through on Day Two moves. Lots of themes moving - Drones, Nuclear, AI, Telehealth/GLP-1.

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
