1) QuantumScape Corp. (QS) (Rating: B, Multi-Day)
Industry Group: Auto Parts, Market Cap: 2.42B, Float: 397.09M Short Interest: 16.65%, Days to Cover: 5.89, Exchange: NYSE
Catalyst: QuantumScape Achieves Key 2025 Milestone In The Scale-Up Of Its Production Capabilities With The Successful Integration Of Its Advanced Cobra Separator Process Into Baseline Cell Production. Neglected story stock. High Short Interest and Days to Cover however the float is very high. Certainly has the ability to move. Solid Theme - Battery tech. Has made a big move already, certainly has the potential to keep going but I won’t be surprised to see a pullback. Has potential but beware the fade.
Honorable Mention to:
AVAV - Solid Earnings Beat. Strong EPS Beat ($1.61 vs est. $1.38), Solid Beat on Revs. Miss on EPS Guide & Inline Revs. Was red last night and reversed green. EPS Pressure from Blue Halo Deal but big top line growth. High Short Interest and Days to Cover + Low Float & Strong Theme.
Industry Group: Aerospace & Defense, Market Cap: 8.82B, Float: 27.84M Short Interest 14.03%, Days to Cover: 7.36, Exchange: NASDAQ
BMBL - Neglected name, Reducing Workforce and raised Q2 Guidance. Will also likely benefit from Apple Store Payment Rules. High Short Interest, Reasonable float.
Industry Group: Internet Content & Information, Market Cap: 538.15M, Float: 67.60M Short Interest 19.47%, Days to Cover: 4.39, Exchange: NASDAQ
Delayed Reaction Watchlists:
Market Awareness
We look to be breaking out here. Beware again of a fade (which didn’t happen yesterday but we might see some today). No rush here to jump on the second gap up. Have some solid existing positions. SIP candidates today are B at best. Bullish Overall.

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
