Welcome to today's Stocks in Play report. Below are the key stocks to watch, along with brief x-ray and analysis.

I use Benzinga Pro (Essential) for 90% of my research each day. I have recently subscribed to a LIFETIME subscription for $1650. This is incredible value. If this is something you’d be interested in then shoot me an email ([email protected]) and I’ll put you in touch with the Rep to receive the agreed price. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
1) Above Food Ingredients (ABVE) (Rating: B, Multi-Day)
X-Ray: Industry Group: Packaged Foods, Market Cap: 79.35M, Float: 50.19M Short Interest 0.12%, Days to Cover: 0.01, Exchange: NASDAQ
Catalyst: Reverse Merger, Crypto. Focusing on Stablecoins. Backed by Saudi’s. Seems to be somewhat of a delayed reaction move here. But the fact that Crypto is hot and this is running tells me it is a solid focus. Up 150% Pre Market.
Honorable Mention to:
DRONE STOCKS (THEME IN FOCUS) - Yesterday Drone Daddy Pete Hegseth released a memo called ‘‘Unleashing U.S. Military Drone Dominance’’. A few take aways from this: Former restrictive policies have been rescinded allowing Drones to be purchased less centrally by Military. Commanders can independently buy, test and train Drones. From 2026 expendable drones will be treated as munitions rather than assets. Drone combat into all major excercises by 2027.
Within 30 Days the Pentagon will be investing with purchase commitments or loans to bolster domestic manufacturing. Here is a full Drone Stock Watchlist: Link Tradingview
I quite like AVAV, RCAT, ONDS, UMAC, AIRO as the best beneficiaries from speculative names. From the slower movers it’s KTOS, LMT. I will be focusing on RCAT, AIRO (recent IPO) & AVAV.
Even if these don’t go today I would watch them for delayed setups. I think you’re going to see a lot of purchase orders, loan agreements etc. to these companies. Similar to what you would have seen with Battery tech companies.
SGN - Another Bitcoin Merger Deal. Moving on high volume pre market. Worth watching. Moving on filings. Again essentially a delayed reaction on rehashed news but Cryptostocks and Bitcoin are all Breaking out
X-Ray: Industry Group: Software - Application, Market Cap: 4.79M, Float: 3.64M Short Interest 2.37%, Days to Cover: 0.02, Exchange: AMEX
TSLA - They will be opening first stores in India next week. Stock has held up really well and failed to break down despite all the Elon drama. I’m just thinking that if an India deal with the US came in today (as expected) then TSLA could run if there are drops in high tariffs for imports to India. Speculative idea but worth keeping in mind.
Delayed Reaction Watchlists:
Market Awareness
Markets looking shaky overnight with Tariff drama and letters going out to various nations with high Tariffs. These are not getting the reaction they got in April as the market simply doesn’t believe them. However we are all dying for a flush in the market.
I’m focusing on the strong Themes. Drones & Crypto. Keeping an eye on VIX and the Worm.

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
