Yesterday In Review
Cut remainder of CVX at Breakeven. Took AEVA at $16.35. Low of day held throughout the day. The stock is still at top of weekly range though so needs to breakout of that to give confidence. Entered ZETA on the U&R of $23, I prefer this chart to AEVA. I think it’s best not to overthink it. Go through the process, identify the stock, take the trade if it presents itself, follow the rules. Too many people get whipped around worrying about 5 minute candles after they enter. Nobody has any idea what’s going to happen after they enter a trade. This is why processes and methods are needed to avoid doing ‘‘random shit’’.
Market Awareness
We’re right back at the top of the range here on this VCP type action. I am still skeptical of us breaking to new highs and think that it’s more likely we see a fake out and chopping of eager traders. That being said, have to keep an open mind. Only thing I’m looking at today is highly speculative and may be a total bust.

Today’s Picks
LUCY: Nanocap that pre-announced earnings this morning. Smart glasses company that seem to have a legitimate product and are licensed with named brands etc. Revs accelerating and growing 65% YoY, diversified products from safety to sports glasses. Licenced with Reebok, Nautica and others. ChatGPT enabled. Publicised insider buying by key figures. I watched some Youtube videos and reviews. Company looks real but who knows…
In Theme, AI wearables. Chart is terrible but these nanocaps ($6m Market Cap!) can make dumb moves. Trade with extreme caution. High Volume Pre Market. Best avoid for newer traders.
X-Ray LUCY: Industry Group: Medical Instruments & Supplies, Market Cap: 6.31M, Float: 4.28M Short Interest 5.27%, Days to Cover: 0.48, Exchange: NASDAQ

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
