Market Awareness

I’m currently on vacation with my family so posting will be sporadic this week and next, but I hope to be able to still do my pre-market work and newsletter each day while away due to the time zone making it possible without disrupting the downtime!

I’m still cautiously bullish but megacaps breaking down and showing continued weakness is not a great sign. The indices still look capable of a breakout after shaking out yesterday. Individual names continue to work though still not super easy market.

Today’s Picks

RFIL:  Strong operational turnaround with record margins, profitability inflection, and revenue acceleration beating Street expectations. Solid chart, similar to DG a few months ago. Also in Theme as a Space Infra supplier. Strong Beat on Revs, GMs and EBITDA. Balance Sheet Transformation. Small Cap. "Breakout year for RFI".

X-Ray RFIL: Industry Group: Electrical Equipment & Parts, Market Cap: 76.92M, Float: 8.31M Short Interest 0.53%, Days to Cover: 0.64, Exchange: NASDAQ

AUID & SPHL - Two nanocaps that I am also monitoring as these types of stocks have been making stupid moves recently. Highly volatile though so trade with caution. May fail early.

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
