Yesterday In Review
Bit of a scatter gun approach yesterday with all the Biotechs in play. I took smaller than normal positions (.25% Risk vs. .5%) in GPCR, WVE, OCUL, FULC & IBIO. This is a lot for me. All on 1 min ORB except IBIO which was on U&R (and was a mistake I shouldn’t have taken this, it was just a pump). Trimmed GPCR early at around $90, Took 60% off WVE later in day. Kept full position in OCUL and cut FULC toward EOD.
This is a lot of trades for me to take but Biotech was going. I could have approached it with more precision but I felt all were good and it’s difficult to know what’s really going to work in these moments. I stopped out on remaining runner in GAP. Retail showed some weakness yesterday.
Really nice day all round with WVE & GPCR doing the leg work. RBRK also had a nice day 2.
Market Awareness
Still Bullish nothing has changed. FED Tomorrow, until then we just look at the individual names… I don’t see a huge amount of high quality picks today. A lot of average catalysts/earnings with reactions that look like they’ll fade to me. Yesterday was great so I’m not looking to press the accelerator here today.

Today’s Picks
YOU: Announced that Medicare are going to integrate YOU Clear systems in January to identify Medicare Fraud and check identities. This is a core target from US government and seems to me to be significant from a narrative point of view. No $ amount disclosed but has high short interest and a big base.
X-Ray YOU: Industry Group: Software - Application, Market Cap: 4.34B, Float: 88.69M Short Interest 19.18%, Days to Cover: 10.71, Exchange: NYSE
TROX: Announced coordinated non-binding Letters of Support/Interest from two government export credit agencies—Export Finance Australia (EFA) and Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM)—for up to $600 million in limited or non-recourse financing to develop a rare earth elements (REE) supply chain. The financing would support mine extensions, infrastructure, and a cracking/leaching facility in Western Australia to produce mixed rare earth carbonate containing light and heavy rare earths.
High Short Interest, Reasonable weekly chart. Rare Earth Minerals Theme. So-so catalyst but could run today. Not a name I’m familiar with previously.
X-Ray TROX: Industry Group: Chemicals, Market Cap: 594.57M, Float: 116.83M Short Interest 18.02%, Days to Cover: 5.25, Exchange: NYSE

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
