Yesterday In Review

No trade in CAPR yesterday. All the halts so early just made it not worth the risk for me. There was a nice Undercut and Reclaim of the previous resistance turned support of $22 but I passed.

I took another Biotech with strong results PHVS that I spotted on BiopharmaIQ after the newsletter went out. It had no volume pre-market anyway so it’s unlikely I’d have included it but the overall chart is good. I took the U&R of $25. It closed well but needs to break above $30 for me to have continued interest.

Stopped out on half size MDB on the MSFT news bomb. Trimmed WMT. KSS down to a small runner. KEYS performing well. My account has been grinding upward steadily since Nov 21st. Navigating this sort of market is not that easy but following the money and not being dogmatic about tech or small caps helps a lot.

Market Awareness

Seeing positive momentum yesterday in many names. Lots of break outs. Today I don’t see anything that takes my interest in terms of earnings or news catalysts. Open positions are still performing well. No need to rush here wait for the setups to come.

DG and TLYS had the best look to their earnings which supports my recent positions but I don’t see them as worth new positions - WMT, GAP, KSS etc. Retail is a theme. Not a sexy theme but a theme nonetheless.

Will spend some time reviewing charts and updating database today.
