Market Awareness

Caution for me here. Market is not looking great. Lots of big names rolling over yesterday and the QQQ is now below the key moving averages. 10/20 EMA Cross over is going to occur today. Other indicators are flashing red.

Catalysts that seemed solid have all failed to follow through. No reason to press here at all. There could be rebalancing, degrossing, tax loss selling or whatever occurring I don’t know but I know that this environment is not an easy dollar environment.

I still have some open positions including MSOS. I will let them play out and trim where I see fit. Likely to be all cash soon if this continues to break down short term. Longer term we’re still in a range here but a lower high has been put in suggesting we could continue to make a lower low. In the long run this should be seen as a positive. Giving charts a long time to reset. The run this year since April has been amazing. They don’t last forever.

Spend your time updating chartbooks and doing a deep dive. It’ll be far more profitable than forcing substandard trades here.
