Stocks in Play - 3rd June 2026
Today in Focus: Patience and some Maybes
Before today's report
I've published my complete sell system as a free, standalone guide.
It's the full rule-based framework I use to manage exits: when to trim, when to hold, and when a trade is over, with worked examples across every timeframe from nanocap parabolics to multi-year breakouts. The exit is the part most traders get wrong, and this is the discipline that takes the emotion out of it.
It's the first post on my new Substack, Stocks in Play. Free to read here:
If you find it useful, a like or restack on the post genuinely helps it reach more traders.
Now, on to today's stocks in play.
Situational Awareness:
Market Condition: Highly Speculative Environment
Commentary: Seeing weakness in names from yesterday. Not a surprise after huge day on Monday. Monitoring some delayed reactions that' I’ve posted below. DGXX has a secondary catalyst today which is moving it but I still consider it in the delayed camp.
XOS is my nanocap watch of the day on a Pivot from EV Mobile charging to Datacenter mobile power. Don’t see anything else that excites me too much. USAR signed definitive agreements with the U.S. Dept of Commerce CHIPS Program for access to up to $1.6B. None of the rest of the group is moving though and it’s up several days in a row. TGTX is a watch too for me on some Phase 1 Bridging Data with high short interest.
Potentially a day where less is more. Let existing positions prove themselves. Nothing clear cut stand out today and weak market open.
Upcoming Earnings:
After Hours: AVGO, FIVE, TLYS
Before Open: XE
Trade Updates:
Current Positions: VSXY, DELL, CRWV, CMPS, APPS, SNOW, INOD, NVDA, AKAM, MSFT, IREN, APLD, BAND, AAPL, GFS
Delayed Reaction/Continuation Watchlist:
VELO, MXL, BW, INTC, DGXX
Note: This is my methodology for identifying stocks in play. There are many valid approaches to trading catalysts—find the setups, timeframes, and risk parameters that align with your strategy.
