Situational Awareness
Market Condition: Bounce
Commentary: Tech getting smashed this morning. Some really big selling in the sector. It's easy in hindsight but none of the tech charts were good for swings unless you were looking at very short term bounces. Three days up max. This is not my strategy and I am not obsessed with certain stocks. I am obsessed with the setup. If the right chart is there I'll literally trade anything once it moves fast enough. This is very important. Forget about the popularity contest and catching the bottom. Most of the memory names etc. have had historical runs. Now they are showing Stage 3 and 4 behaviors. Remove them from your mind.
Health Care and Consumer are strongest right now. I wouldn't be going crazy adding risk here as tech may drag everything down.
REGN is the best earnings and chart today. Though it's a slower mover.
INTC and TWLO had really bad reports if you are looking for shorts but I think they have had big moves down already. TWLO likeliest to keep going I think. INTC probably has/had a lot of institutional support but the earnings report was absolutely dire.

Overbought On McClellan Oscillator
Likely a good opportunity to sit back and take an early weekend or else look for shorts intraday if you need the action. Let’s see where we close today. Will tell a lot more about the market than where we are opening.
