I’ve been using Stock Analysis as a super affordable but reliable method of looking at New and Upcoming IPOs, Earnings Calendars and most notably KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Stock Analysis allows you to view the KPIs for many companies with up to date metrics and segments that you can cross reference against Earnings Results. This is incredibly important when understanding what metrics move a stock.

Situational Awareness

Market Condition: Short term pullback lower timeframe, Bullish market higher time frame

Commentary: Today is a pivotal market day. We have the FED Decision this evening and then more importantly the big Hyperscalers reporting after hours MSFT, GOOG, META. These will be market moving events no doubt.

Lot’s of earnings to go through from last night. Plenty of positive moves but more difficult to find ones that are really worth trading. Just a note I’m already long BE. It had fantastic earnings but if I wasn’t in from two weeks ago I would likely struggle with an entry today as it’s ran too much from a good buy point for me.

In Play

SBUX:  Strong Earnings with Excellent KPI Beats - Turnaround

Key Metrics SBUX: Industry Group: Restaurants, Market Cap: 115.96B, Float: 1.14B, Short Interest: 3.98%, Days to Cover: 5.82, Sales Y/Y TTM: 4.32%, EPS Y/Y TTM: -61.20%, Earnings: Apr 28 AMC, Exchange: NASDAQ

Catalyst: First simultaneous top- and bottom-line growth in >2 years, broad-based beat across revenue/EPS/comps, accompanied by a guidance raise. Strong KPIs notably Comps Transactions +3.8% & Pricing +2.3% meaning the beats were based on transactions not just pricing power.

‘CEO - ‘Our second quarter marked the turn in our turnaround as our Back to Starbucks plan drove both top and bottom line growth"

Turnaround story for me. Slower mover but good weekly and monthly chart above $105 is a multi month B/O. Stock has been consolidating for 6 years now. Daily chart also lines up well. This is a diversified choice while we wait for Tech!

PRCH:  Strong Beats on All Metrics, Biz Model Transition Working

Key Metrics SBUX: Industry Group: Insurance - Property & Casualty, Market Cap: 989.74M, Float: 82.00M, Short Interest: 20.99%, Days to Cover: 10.63, Sales Y/Y TTM: 6.53%, EPS Y/Y TTM: 92.39%, Earnings: Apr 28 AMC, Exchange: NASDAQ

Catalyst: First clean YoY comp post-business model transition; PSI revenue +29%, Insurance Services +50%, Adj. EBITDA $19.7M (vs. $(2.0)M prior year ex-legacy reinsurance benefit), GAAP net income positive on consolidated basis ($1.9M vs. losses), all three guidance lines raised, statutory surplus +59% YoY.

The company transitioned it’s model a year ago and now the results are showing for them. Weekly and Monthly chart are good. Big Cup & Handle type pattern. Right at $10 level on Daily. The stock can be somewhat choppy but is capable of making big runs. V High Short Interest and DTC

"Porch's playbook is working… Q1 2026 is the first quarter in recent history with a tangible year-over-year comparison and the momentum we have is now clear."

"We did today increase the revenue guidance, 4 percentage points of growth at the midpoint. Now the revenue guidance is a 20% year-over-year growth. Again, that's all driven by just adding, continuing to add in new customers."
