Market Condition: Market Below all MAs, Gapping Down, Potential 3 Days Up

Commentary:

Gapping down again this morning on the QQQ while the DIA, and SPY are up. Lot’s of news out this morning about more Korean leverage wipeouts overnight. I think a Red to Green on the QQQ is getting likely. Note we do have the FED meeting tomorrow and again there is more news flow coming out about surprise hikes. Regardless of all these narratives we are looking at price.

There isn’t a lot in terms of quality catalyst so I won’t waste time with Writeups. I’m looking at ALT on Positive Phase 2 Data for Alcohol Use Therapy. High Short Interest is the main draw here. Worth noting however that Biotech land was rocked yesterday with CAPR on FDA claims they had manipulated data and the same is occurring today with REPL.

The other watch is FIRY (formerly SKLZ) on a rehash of Court Case Win and large award in their favor. This is not new but the judge signed off on the higher recommended judgement yesterday so potential for it to be active intraday.

NMAX is a last minute one worth watching also with META Partnership story.

Overall I think it’s a hit and run or do nothing market. Both are fine approaches. The latter being the easiest. All of the above are not 5 star and it’s frankly difficult to tell what is going to work when they’re of average quality in a bad market. If you can’t sit out there is a case for just using market ETFs instead.
