Today in Focus: Mind The Gap

Trading Services I Use in my Trading:

Finviz is my go to every day for Screener and News. I use a simple Pre Market Scanner on the News tab to scroll down through charts and news at the same time. This is the fastest and most efficient way I’ve found to scroll charts and news together.

Market Condition: Runaway gap up

Commentary: Today is interesting. Everything gapping up. I don’t see any super catalysts and very little looks buyable. Big gap up means caution for me. You don’t want to be caught chasing. I have great positions and I’m heavily leveraged. I have names on my Delayed Reaction list below which I’m potentially willing to try on B/O today with lower risk but not right at the open.

Other than that I think I’m going to just manage existing positions. Always beware of the Fade on days like this. These are the days where existing positions reward you. The RR on new ones is likely not there.

For the Degen’s amongst us YMAT looks like the nanocap runner of the day on Battery Cell narrative. (They’ve gotten approval to apply for a sovereign backed loan to build a plant in texas). Total story stock.
