Today in Focus: NVDA, Delayed Reactions
Trading Services I Use in my Trading:
Finviz is my go to every day for Screener and News. I use a simple Pre Market Scanner on the News tab to scroll down through charts and news at the same time. This is the fastest and most efficient way I’ve found to scroll charts and news together.
Situational Awareness
Market Condition: Closed above the 10/20 EMA & 50MA yesterday on the QQQ. NVA earnings reaction seems solid.
Commentary: Today is interesting. Lot's of things gapping up on earnings but many of them with (what I feel are) somewhat substandard charts. SEZL, CELH, BFLY probably being the best I think.
Market feels more Bullish and we are definitely continuing to see traction in many names. Cautious of a shakeout early in the day.
I am inclined to simply sit on my open positions today or else look at the most obvious chart from last night.
Upcoming Earnings:
After Hours: MP, CRWV, AMBA, AAOI, WULF
Before Open: GSAT, UUUU
Trade Updates:
Current Positions: FSLY, GLW, STM, INNV, VRT, CGNX, NKTR, PVLA, YOU, ROIV
In Play
NVDA: NVDA Strong Earnings and Upcoming Investor Day
Key Metrics: Industry Group: Semiconductors, Market Cap: 4775.68B, Float: 23.38B, Short Interest: 1.10%, Days to Cover: 1.52, Sales Y/Y TTM: 65.22%, EPS Y/Y TTM: 58.53%, Earnings: Feb 25 AMC, Exchange: NASDAQ
Catalyst: Record revenue, gross margin recovery to 75.2%, Blowout Revenue Guide. Confirmed Blackwell architecture acceleration with no signs of demand deceleration. Agentic AI narrative reinforced by enterprise diversification beyond hyperscalers. Flat Weekly base chart right under $200 Round Number area. As goes NVDA will likely go the market.
Their Investor Conference takes place next week where they are expected to announce integration of Groq IP to their Chips meaning a potential reduction in need for Memory Chips. May work better as a delayed reaction but certainly worth monitoring.
Delayed Reaction/Continuation Watchlist:
Monitoring:
RXT - Earnings Reaction/Delayed PLTR Partnership Reaction
SNDK - Memory Breakout/NVDA Sympathy
