I am finally back to regular programming. I wish I was coming back with a great catalyst to write about but the market isn’t very forgiving at the moment! We’re still in that strange paradox of stocks above the MAs to continue to drop daily while the index chart looks poised to breakout. My exposure has naturally dropped over the past two weeks with trim and sell rules. I am in no hurry to take big risks here. That being said if we get a positive catalyst that reverses the direction of yields then stocks may get their day in the sun. For now we have plenty of AI stocks looking constructive and getting tight. It’s a new quarter from today. We may start to see a new regime.

Why: Very strong earnings. Solid surprise and positive management commentary for 27/28. Obviously the stock is well appreciated and we don’t have a gap. It is more common now for these mega caps to remain flat in the after hours and make their move once the market opens. For that reason it’s a watch for me today. I remain cautious of the market and this is not a stock I’m gung ho to trade but I am aware that on first day of the new Q we might see a rally hit the market. This is more of an If, Then scenario rather than a nailed on play for today.

Level: $1100 is the obvious level for breakout traders.
