Market Condition: Market Under all MAs, VIX Resurgence

Commentary: Yet another red open. I prefer this to a green one as it will tell us more late in the day. The VIX is having a resurgence this morning. We want that to fade and we want the market to go green to gain additional confidence.

I am not seeing a lot of high quality setups. For me today is another day to monitor existing positions and see how the day develops. I’m seeing traders on X get Bullish again, the same ones that were Bearish last week. Along with many ‘‘big names’’ popping up again after months of silence. Usually they are contras. Don’t get caught in this loop with them. I am positioned well for a bullish move but trading less here is likely the smart move.

In the interests of transparency from my research this morning: OVID looks like a reasonable watch today. Biotech with a strong Private Placement and Data Update announcement. Good chart. Another stock worth noting is OSS which I thought had really good earnings but price action pre market is saying otherwise. I’ll be watching both of these as potential plays today but most likely another no trade day.
