Market Condition: Gap Down into Range/Weak

Commentary: We’ve seen weakening in a lot of names over the past few days. Failing breakouts and leading names plunge back into their ranges. NQ is doing the same thing this morning. Still on a Weekly time frame and a daily nothing looks too terrible. Just normal chopping action.

Tomorrow we have CPI, that may or may not kick things in a direction. Most likely earnings season will just have to play out and see where we land.

20% Bullish Study dropped to < 10 Stocks yesterday which is generally a short term bounce indicator in the markets. We may see this come this evening or tomorrow. For me though there is very little to do. I only look at market reversals at true extremes and this doesn’t feel like that to me.

Waiting for catalysts and monitoring the VIX for any escalation. Shoryuken Setup potential in HUM that’s the only thing I’m monitoring today.
