Situational Awareness
Market Condition: Rest day yesterday for the indices, Still battling underside of MAs for QQQ. All other Indices stronger.
Commentary: I remain cautiously Bullish however I have trimmed working positions yesterday. Still seeing nice follow through on most trades but we’ve seen a lot of whiplash over the past few months that make me cautious. Will continue to monitor stocks and sell strength. Positions working well for now. Refreshing to be finally seeing some traction.
A lot of stocks moving today after earnings.
Upcoming Earnings:
After Hours: LPTH, PLMR, AM, VNDA
Before Open: NBIS, CROX, ZTS, PCG, AEP, IRDM, AVNT, CBRE, CNR, ETR, ISSC, OGN, SLBM, WAT
Trade Updates:
Current Positions: NKTR, STM, WULF, VG, INNV, ROIV, MPC, PLBY, GLW
Trimmed several winners yesterday. Selling strength to lock in profits while still holding good exposure. Stopped INTC (Bogey stock for me).
In Play
VRT: Explosive orders growth (+252% Q4)
Key Metrics: Industry Group: Electrical Equipment & Parts, Market Cap: 90.25B, Float: 375.03M, Short Interest: 2.54%, Days to Cover: 1.54, Sales Y/Y TTM: 28.76%, EPS Y/Y TTM: 76.31%, Earnings: Feb 11 BMO, Exchange: NASDAQ
Catalyst: Explosive orders growth (+252% Q4) and blowout FY26 guidance (+43% EPS vs Street +20% expectation). Expectations are already quite high for VRT but the Order growth is bullish. Potential that this one works better as a delayed reaction but I think it’s worth focus as a leading name along with other suppliers/infrastructures that are being repriced currently. Short flat base on chart. Breaching the $200 area today.
AEHR: Aehr Secures Key AI Production Burn-in Win with Initial Order of Sonoma Systems for Lead Hyperscale Customer
Key Metrics: Industry Group: Semiconductor Equipment & Materials, Market Cap: 936.89M, Float: 28.45M, Short Interest: 16.23%, Days to Cover: 5.27, Sales Y/Y TTM: 4.96%, EPS Y/Y TTM: -138.82%, Earnings: Jan 08 AMC, Exchange: NASDAQ
Catalyst: Aehr Test Systems announced it has won the production burn-in business for a lead hyperscale customer's next-generation, significantly higher-power AI ASIC processor. The initial purchase order includes multiple Sonoma ultra-high-power burn-in systems plus fully turnkey burn-in modules and sockets, with delivery scheduled for summer 2026.
Nice big base on the chart. This one has a habit of fading but considering these suppliers are moving well I think this is worth focus.
Delayed Reaction/Continuation Watchlist:
Monitoring:
GME - Poised for Catalyst
ENPH - Delayed Reaction to Earnings
